i havent seen any RWD evo's, ever. But am hoping to find one, only reason that i can think of would be Drifting.
give the guy a break,
i would actually op to say on a high speed track, a RWD setup would be quicker as... you can ask more of the front tires in turning, if you arent putting power through them... think of the traction circle...
anyway, if it was an inexpensive conversion i would probably dabble with it too....
a properly developed RWD evo might prove to be a weapon on a road course, but for short squirt time events such as time attack, it may not see the benefit.
regardless let people ask questions without bashing them.

Not sure about better.... um... I'd say different. With RWD, you can steer more with the throttle which makes it fun. With AWD, you can really put the power down coming out of turns where a RWD car would be swinging its *** end out.
Given cars with equal whp, and equal weight, I'd put money on the AWD car to win on any sort of track over RWD.

But seriously,i won't mind to do it if i have a lot of EVO.

I saw that movie last night... It was alright. Liked the cars, but they took the whole drift scene a bit far. Sorry it was off the subject. In my opinion, it would be kinda cool to have some people running rear-wheel drive. I wouldn't do it, since I get snow half a year, but whatever. Plus, All-Wheel drive kicks a$$ off the line!
I dont thnk he asked if anyone would do it or if they thought it was a good idea. He just asked if anyone has done it and the answer is YES, so not a dumb question. There are a few out there including an Evo 2.
