HKS SSQV recirculation kit ?

I have the hks ssqv with the upper intercooler pipe. I was wondering where to get the recirculation kit for it. Or does the recirculation kit they have on the hksusa.com website fit. It seems like the hose they provide will be too short. Thanks in advance.

I'm just not sure that the hose they provide will reach the intake.

i know this is old, but w/e, can't you use the stock hose because i might need the ssqv and was wondering if i just get the fitting, then can't i use the stock long hose instead of using HKS's short hose....because in their kit, all that comes is the fitting, hose, and little clamp...

You should be able to use the stock hose, that is what I plan on doing with my kit. So much better than the crappy kit that comes with those BOVs.

i have the ssq and the recirculation kit is for the dual blow off valve sort of like the stock blow off valve. Recirculation is always better because you have more forced induction rather than releasing it into the atmosphere.

yea...i just need to make sure that i can just buy the fitting and then just use the stock black flexible hose to reach the intake instead of buying the kit, which comes with some other short hose...

HKS does not make a reciq kit when it is mounted on the upper intercooler pipe as far as I know. When I had mine I made my own using a samco 1" hose, 1" elbow and an adaptor for the HKS RS intake. Not running this setup any more, I'm back to stock with the JDM diverter valve.

The inner diameter of the stock recirc hose is larger than the inner diameter of the hks recirc hose. It won't fit on the hks recirc port. If you're worried about the hks hose not reaching, go to an autoparts store and get some radiator hose with some long straights and some 45 degree bends, then cut to fit.

Personally, I have run the HKS recirculated and it will still cause some issues if you're using the stock MAS. Under partial throttle no boost, it doesn't fully close like a spring loaded valve will.

Let me go ahead and correct you. What you meant to say was this:

Recirculation for MAF equipped cars is always better because the ECU is looking for metered air in a throttle lift situation, thus making the car perform as it was intended.

For the record there are numerous posts here claiming that the SSQV BoV is not a good choice for the evo period.
