just in case you dont know this will cause you to lose power not gain. but if you want I am sure you can find a shop to do it. you will also have to cut the rear bumper to ge the 2nd tip to fit. if you do it beware of flames around here (people tend to get all uppidy about things if the sort). have fun

edit this will have to be a custom fab job too as I know of no kit out there

no worries. It would if we had a v8 but our inline 4 doesnt need that kind of breathing. Just get a good cat back from like buscher (spelling?) greddy, custom etc... and rumor has it magnaflow is coming out with one.

though, you could compensate for the loss in power by instead of having a single 2" exhaust, you could make two ~1" exhaust. so having one big pipe would be the same as having two smaller pipes, giving you that backpressure that our small motors need.

Well, a true dual exhaust has 2 cats, and like GuruDel said, is really only worthwhile on a V8, or at least something pumping out more than about 250 hp. Most people who just want the look of dual exhaust get a single muffler with 2 outlets. You really won't lose much back pressure that way, and you'd still have 2 tips at the back of your car. Can't see the muffler unless you're on your hands and knees anyway.

It is possible to make a bual exhaust but good luck finding someone who can do it.. if you look under the bumper in the rear of your lancer you wil notice a (charcoal filter i belive) black box blocking there your second piping and exhaust would be routed.

I had wanted the same thing but noone can do it because of the box sorry.
