Newbie Question? Fuel Pump?

I just bought a walbro fuel pump. My question is if I install the fuel pump Will the car run fine without any problems? My Mods are turboback and intake. I have a flash an tune Scheduled for Saturday. I dont want to have it installed and regret it. Please Help me out! Thanks Guys!

lol yes you will be fine if you install it now. the fuel pump is somewhat of an insurance to make sure that your car has enough fuel to go around since you are no longer stock.
you may get the whining noise the walbro is famous for though, hehe :P

there r two ways of installing it..

replacing your old one.. and welding it in.. do a search to see which you'd prefer..

the swaping is pretty easy but ull b taking off your back seats n such.. so yea..

do a search haha

it takes about 10 seconds to take off the backseat. there are 2 latches and it comes off.

this install is very easy to do. the oem pump looks like the walbro except its black, not all shiny. the hardest part is lack of space so you have to mess around with it when the pump is in.

it would also help that when you are installing the pump that youre low on gas. 1/4 of the tank if not lower. some gas will spill around the opening area, thats ok. just have a towel handy and wipe up. good luck

+1 on the no gas. also have a fire extinguisher around just in case when u are wrenching u create a spark. i actually bent some of the sheet metal back to make it easier to get the pump in and out. u will know what im talking about when u try getting that stupid assembly out of there.

Thats cause fuel was leaner with the stock pump.
