Go with the IX. Beating a dead horse here, but I agree with everyone else.
Besides, you buy a used car, you don't know what you are getting into. My buddy just bought an 04 Evo VIII that was modded pretty well from Appleway Mitsubishi with 9k miles and a full warranty. 3 weeks later, the SES light came on, he takes it in, and they void the warranty based on the BOV. He hadn't installed any equipment, it was still the same condition as when they sold it to him. He raised a stink about it, and they reversed the deal. Are going to wholesale the vehicle.
