new 06 IX or modded 05 VIII MR?

Hi Evom!

Right now im getting a similar deal on these 2 cars. Just wanted to get the forum's opinion.

2006 WW IX
Brand new

or

2005 GG VIII MR
15k miles
Modded. Includes exhaust, mbc, aem ems fuel rail, k/n drop in filter and maybe 1-2 more things.

Thanks in advance.

IX. The VII MR will probably need new tires and clutch soon. And you don't know how hard it's been driven, or if any gears have been ground.

Oh yeah... IX has MIVEC.

Go with the 2006. Do your own mods and customize it to your liking. You have no idea what has happened to the 2005 over the past year.

I say IX since its new with no history.

Also it kind of depends on how much you know about working on cars and modding. If not much, you have to remember that your arent going to have a warranty with the AEM EMS in there so you will have to fix anything that breaks as well as doing any tuning with it. With the new stock one you can just take it to the dealer for free.

i agree with the IX, i wouldnt buy a modded car, becuase if something goes wrong you dont really know where to start. Plus you would start off fresh with the IX

IX in a heartbeat. If you're serious about your car, you want to know about every mile that's on it. You want to tune it yourself, and know what's been done to it. 15k miles doesn't sound bad for an ordinary used vehicle, but these aren't ordinary vehicles by any means. In the end, it's going to be your baby, do you want someone else's used (and possibly abused) kid, or one of your own that you can raise right?
