just saying hi and introducing myself. I am here to learn as much as i can about these cars to make an educated decision on which one to buy next year. in the last 2 and 1/2 years i have been through a 00' honda prelude w/ a couple bolt-ons(loved that car), a 04' sti and am now driving a 20th ann. edition gti. hopefully ill buy an evo and just keep it. lol

well the sti was definitely the fastest and best handling and sounded the best. a close second is the prelude. i loved that car. it was pretty quick with not much into it and was the best handling fwd i ever drove. my gti is fun. im unhappy with the handling though. it is pretty fast i will give it that but it doesnt handle well enough and i need awd wich is why im looking for an evo. i have been reading about what IX to get and so far i dont want an RS, the GSR with the SSL package i like because of the sunroof. but chances are i will only get springs so the billsteins in the MR seem like a good thing and i like 6 speeds for some reason but im hearing bad things about the strength of the MR tranny...and if i cant get a IX next year i think i will cry. i just got this gti a month ago and it would be weird to sell it so soon and i would take a loss.
