So I sold my truck yesterday and now Im ready to buy my Evo. Only problem is I cant decide wether I want to get a Evo IX WW SSL or get a SE. The main problem is.... If i want a WW it will have to come from either Mass or FL. There are only 3 left on the east coast. I love the white. The other option is to go with a SE in black or silver. There are plenty of these in MD. What do you guy think?

I love the way the silver looks once you add rims and the jdm rear end. Only thing is there are so many silver cars on the road. I'd get black but its so hard to keep clean and just gets swirl marks in it.

 

it all depends on taste - I love my current mr and would've kept my '03 gsr if it wasn't yellow...white is a fave color of mine and i wish i had an ssl version of it, but if you really want a 6spd and can do w/o the roof and leather (reg 06 evo's seats are nice anyway) get the se...having a black se would be sweet though! (got to trade those diamond bbs wheels for the regular gunmetal ones though)

 

I personally like the SE. It has the MR package minus a few options including the 6 speed. I think the 6 speed is over rated. White is nice but I really like the silver. Black is great too, I just don't like the hot summer days in a black car. Just my .02.

 

Ive been leaning more towards the White SSL. Just have to call up the three dealerships on the east coast and see who will get me the best deal.

 

I wish the SE was out when I traded for the IX. I am in MD too. What dealer are you going to go to?

 

I just went to Antwerpen on Liberty Rd, but would be buying from Jerrys on joppa cause the guy was very helpful the first time I went down there. Thats if I dont go out of state to get a white one.

 

I love my WW SSL Evo wouldnt have any other...LOL Its up to you which options you want either sunroof, leather, and subwoofer or with the SE model you get the BBS wheels and aluminum roof... You get HID lights with either one... I like the HIDs thats why I got the SSL, The SE wasnt out when I bought my evo.

 

Yeah the HIDs are a must so thats why I'm looking at either a SSL or an MR cause the GSRs donthave the HIDs. I thought I read somewhere that alot of the people with the 6spds dont like them.

 

Too bad the SE isnt availble in WW

 

Yeah really I would be all over that.
