Did you own my car?

hey, my names Mike The reason my name is BNM is on all the other forums im on Im Bad News Mini. I use to have an 04 Mini Cooper S, Pully intake, Control arms, sway bars, Strut bars, JCW struts/springs, and Orcari Body kit.

I Just traded it in on an 05 Mitsu Evo SSL. when I found the car online I called the dealer he said it was an 05 with 12,000 and it was stock besides some gauges and a turbo timer. so I drove out there to get it and um its not stock but NO ONE knows whats done. woundering if some one on here owned it before. and could inlighten me. heres some of the things Ive found.

Ajustable Cam Gears, Larger Injectors, and Im Running 25 Pounds of BOOOST.
But it has stock Intake and Exhoust. (seams dumb to have those stock and run 25psi?)

So now was there a custom tune on this car, a plug and play chip. I talk to a guy around here who does tune Evo's. but am I dumping a good reflash down the drain if I do. I wish I could find the previse Owner. according to the Carfax, it was a NY Car that was sold at auction to Metro Lexus in clevlend the dealer I bought it from.

Get a flash cable and ecuflash software and pull the rom and look at it. You can tell right away if the car has a flash in it. Id also pull the cvalve cover to check on the cams to see whats in there

The stock exhaust and intake should not be surprising. Folks sell obvious modifications to improve trade-in. Happens all the time.

ya thats what I thought, that they got sold before trade in or that this person Might have pulled those for his New MR or somthing. (becouse it has a CF exhoust bumper protector, and CF license plate tray)

But that again begs the question was the custom tune for a full catless exaust? or not? what kind of intake was on the car?
