Are the Stock Tires any good
I had first hand experience with them on the track and I was disappointed. They don’t grip as much as I thought they should have. They are good for the streets with some spirited driving and of course novice track driver. However for experienced drivers they don’t do the job well.

Yea, Advans aren't performance tires. Your best bet it to go to pep-boys and buy the house brand tires. They are the best performance tires on earth.

CrAZyYuGo clearly doesnt know much yet about the Evo (or spelling in the English lang.) Somewhere out there an English teacher is crying.

Just like every member of the Lancer Evolution family, we started with our famous 4G63 engine. Add all-wheel drive, the revolutionary Active Center Differential, some super-sticky Advan® tires, a set of Brembo® brakes, and you've got all the performance features that the Evolution's legendary rally heritage was built on.
