New Buyer

Hi all, new to the forum.

I need to trade my 98 lexus gs 300 and I'm considering to buy a 2002 Lancer OZ. It's got 33,000 miles and the asking price is $9,987. It' auto and black.

I have a few questions about it. I live in Chicago so I need a decent car during the snow. How does it drive in the snow?

How's the car rated? Does the car always need service?

How's the asking the price from the dealer, is that a fair price?

Thanks.

I want a small car cause I drive a lot of miles so I could save money on gas. Plus, we got a 2001 Lexus LX470 that we use as a family car. My main goal is to buy a cheaper car and save some money.

So $10 is too high?

$10,000 is WAY too high for an OZ with 33,000 miles on it. I have a 2002 OZ with 9500 miles on it and I only got a $8,900 quote for it.

Try www.kbb.com for the Kelly Blue book. That might give ya some ammo to talk the dealer down with. Good luck!! (personally I would go for the Evo though)
