Question warranty

So I was looking at aftermarket parts for my car, and I called the dealer to see what would void the warranty and they said that anything I do to my car would void it. Is this true or did the guy that I talk to just not know what the hell he was talking about. I wanted to get RMR intake, and a few other bolt ons, but I am afraid now because of what he said. On the flip side I and now getting my body kit because some old biatch pulled out in front of me and i wrecked my car. Parts are so much nicer when they are getting paid for by the stupid, and not by me.

The guy you talked to didn't know what he was talking about.

First of all, when a dealer decline service, that decision is coming from the manufactor's regional tech rep, not the dealer, dealers get pay either way and they don't mind doing the work.

Second, the part you have installed has to cause the damage before they can decline service. Example, refuse to fix your A/C because you have after market suspension installed isn't gonna cut it. Do some research, there are laws out there to protect you.

That's my job. He IS a fool. Complain to MMNA if he doesn't even try to look at your car before declining the warranty or claims something else ridiculous. Actually, before you do that insist that you know your rights and try to solve it with the manager or whoever. If that doesn't work, start steppin' up the ladder.
