when engaging the clutch the idle changed, is that normal for you guys? you could tell by the sound of the engine once the pedal was in, and once released it changed again but i dont remember if it rose or lowered the RPM when i engaged the clutch but jus wanted sum input thanks!

If it is a cold day and the car's engine has just been started the oil in the transmission will be stiff. Letting out the clutch will cause the ECU to open the throttle body idle circuit to compensate.
First the idle will monentarily pull down and then you will hear the engine note increase since the engine is doing more work.
