Quick question about stock hood vent
Ok ok, this is a silly, but serious question. Is it ok to go through a touchless car wash or even wash the hood (since it has a vent into the engine bay)? I've looked at it and it looks like a lot of water can easily get in there. Thanks in advance.

Hey your supposed to tell him that its the end of the world - it in the Evolved Member handbook of things to say to a Newbie
I dont even run with the hood shield anymore - rain doesnt do much more than make steam. Snow - dont drive it anymore in the winter. I just have to stay on top of cleaning the bay more - thats all.

I particularly like when I roll out of the touchless car wash and steam rolls out from the hood for about a quarter mile. The people in McDonalds drive through look very worried.

I only hand wash/wax mine. It's better that way.
