Gas Milage
I do mostly city driving... not pure stop and go but plenty of stop signs and lights and usually nothing over 40... a few hard pulls here and there I get about 220 give or take before the light comes on.
Wow... I thought my gas mileage wasn't that great, but I guess it's pretty normal.
Last tank I got almost exactly 250 miles before the light came on and then I drove a little more to the gas station after that. Ended up with 261.1 miles from full to fill up. Then when I filled it up I was able to out 11.1 gallons in until the pump shut off. Don't we have a 14 gallon tank? That means that with the light on I've still got 3 gallons in the tank. I guess it's sorta nice to have that buffer there so you're not sucking all the dirt off the bottom of the tank.
Anybody else notice at what mileage their light comes on?
<--- Woo hoo... post number 69... sorry, just had to add that.

i just made a trip to my folks house, 200miles one way and going down there i was 70 to 80mph getting 21mpg. coming home was 60 to 70mph getting 24mpg. still breaking it in but slower is better especially with all the police around.
bone
bone
I'm always calculating my mpg and the best mpg I ever got was 30mph but that was in the moutains, were the car is coasting half the time and the other time it's running more effeciently because it's under a few psi of boost.
Driving in the high plains of Montana I averaged 24-26mpg. I'm guessing the baro sensor is responsible in part for that kind of mpg because driving across Michigan I only get around 23mpg.
Long live ECUFlash.

My ix MR all stock was getting 220 per tank. I got a dynoflash from Al and now I'm getting 260 per tank with power to boot. I just bought a tanabe dp, tanabe test pipe, and agency power catback. I'll let you know how that works out once installed. It'll probably go down some.
im lucky if I get 16mpg. barely sees the highway for sustained trips. so its usually blasts around town and down the high way for short periods of time and the car never sees a NON rev matched and/or heal toe downshift. when the car was bone stock,I was seeing between 220-240 miles out of a tank of gas with about 12.5-13.2 gallons of gas when it was time to refill. but now I am feeling lucky to see 200
I drive the car the same way I always did, its just way faster now. the car now has 02 housing, TBE(no cat) BR cone filter, MBC set to 2round 22psi with normal spiking and walbro pump. accordting to what some are saying and to what shoudl make sense...the car should get better gas mileage since it going to run more lean then stock...BUT, is the increase in power out weighing the leaning out factor and giving me about 20% Less Gas Mileage?

All stock other than a Assdyno tune via Ecu-Flash.
I'm sure other tuners could be better but it wasn't rocket science either. I used Ecu-Flash to tune the car in and spent time dialing it in for highway speeds which for me are around 70-75mph.
Just a couple points of knock here & there, good fuel trims and time tuning the car in for low speed cruise. I honestly think that I can get better mpg.

Well, I don't know if it depends on climate or what, but I find that
1.) The more expensive gas is, the worse gas mileage I get
2.) The first 1/2 tank of gas lasts much longer than the last half, evaporation?
