Thanks, they are alot of work. Im going to be completely honest. If i got a civic even a new one with a whopping 197 HP if wreck it so i could get a new car because I hate them so much. And I know a friend like this. He has a 92 ford explorer and he just hits other cars and stuff bc he is careless. The only thing he cares for is the 10k+ in audio visual he put into that car. I am going to be extremely careful, im not going to park it any where near school. Ive even thought about rarely/never taking friends in it because they will want me to do something stupid and im going to be careful in general. Im never going to eat or drink in my car or anything else like thay. Ive already warned all my friends im going to be a reall a$$ hole when i get my car.

People are going to judge you based on your age. Call it ignorance, call it stereotyping, its not going to help you win the arguement. Sorry.

Well, lost myself in a little rant. I say GG.

Too young, period. If he doesnt wreck the car, he is in the minority, not the majority. Statictics are great tools, they can help predict the outcome of future events. Based on the past issues with young people on this board, there is a better chance than not you will wreck your car. Sorry, the facts dont lie. That doesnt mean it will absolutely happen, but the statistics are against you.

Yes, it is a free country. Unfortunately/fortunately, each individuals freedom ends at the foot of another individual. What happens if said young person wrecks his car and causes the insurance rates to go upward? Or worse yet, get into a high speed accident that claims the life of an innocent person? Yes, free country. Being such, Im free to post on this board my concern for the situation.

Another thought. Ever notice how EVERY 16 year old that comes on these boards states they learned on a fast car, have a racing liscense, etc? Am I the only person at the age of 16 that didnt learn to drive in a Corvette and didnt already have 5 years of racing expereince?

I've got the GG, and it is a nice color. I wanted the silver because it seems like it looks less dirty when it is. On another note, I have to admit at 16 I would not have been a good enough driver for the Evo. Not to mention the insurance costs. You sound like a booksmart individual, but being booksmart is one thing and using good judgement is another - That comes with wisdom, which comes with experience. I sincerely hope when you drive by yourself or with friends that you consider the ramifications of bad judgement, even just once.

It was an example. I realize you didnt claim to have a racing liscense. I know you said M3 and not a Corvette. Still, I learned to drive in an old Jeep Cherokee. Its just funny how all you young guys have such nice learning tools.

Ill leave it like I left it with the last guy, good luck, prove us wrong. (Unfortunately, that guy was hot rodding his car the first day he had it and thus far has already curbed two nice bbs wheels - at the two week mark)

Hmmm...this sounds familiar.

Now I remember...Initial D, when they're explaining how Takumi became such a good driver.

so i think telling younger people to get a pos for a first car is getting old... and all you old farts need to find something new to complain about... cause " your too young" and "search" is getting old

cheers =-p
