I think we're paying $3600 a year for 2 brand new cars, and my wife doesn't have the best driving record from when she was younger and stopped driving for a few years so shes considered a 'new driver' again. And my daily commute is about 55 miles, so we have to pay even more for that. We're both 28, non-smokers, I have a perfect driving record, and we own our home outright. If I could find a job closer to where we live, it would go down about $1000 a year.

Guys, the monthly payment doesn't make any lick of sense without knowing the amount of the down.

Let's just report the annual premium.

1. How much is your rate?
$2450/6mo - with my 94 TSi AWD and 96 GST it was $1250/6mo with no comprehensive

2. Hows your record (good, average, or bad)?
Pretty good, 2 tickets on record (they were out of state) and I bumped a 94 S10 which the guy claimed a $1400 claim for a ding in his bumper. What should have cost $150 for a used bumper or $700 for a shiny new one is now costing me $6500 over 4 years

3. What compay?
Progressive drive, will be going back to farmer's after the accident clears

4. How old are you?
22, almost 23
