True, but I checked on the payments on a used EVO that is near where I live (~$25,00 and it looks like someone who know what they were doing worked on it) and the payments ended up being close to $350 a month. The bottom line is that I could afford it at this point in time, however, I'm going to try and enroll in graduate school next year so I'm trying cut back my expenses to pay for that. With any luck my Lancer should be paid off by the end of the 2007.

However, I do have a nice tax return coming in the spring which I can afford to invest in the car, which brings me back to the original question - any advice on modifications?

Tempting, but some moron scrapped the paint on the side of her - I figure if I'm going to have to get body work done to bring her back to spec might as well put a little something extra in there, no?

Edit - I just checked my maintenance records, and I am due for a break job - is it worth while to upgrade them, or should I just replace the pads as needed?
