Im looking at buying an Evo MR here sometime this month and I cannot find anything that explains the difference between the MR and the MR SE....I know it has "special red stitching" in the seats...but what other differences are there? I didnt see any SE badging on any of the MRs at my local mitsubishi dealerships and the sales people there didnt even know there was a MR SE....

 

Well i know theres a few minor things. BUt one main one that alot of ppl like is the ability to get it in BLACK!

 

The Mr SE just has the appearance package (diamond-black BBS, red stitched, front lip). The same as the regular MR performance wise

 

oh ok is black only a MR SE option? I was looking at a black MR at the dealership and it was side by side with a graphite grey MR in the showroom but I couldnt really tell any differences in thier appearences

 

oh ok that explains why the black mr had the black bbs rims and the graphite grey had silver.....so black color availability and black rims....does it come with the front airdam option as well?

There is no such thing as an "MR SE." There is a 2006.5 MR with appearance package which has the same wheels, lip, and seats as the SE though. Hope this helps

 

Any black MR should have the diamond-black BBS, not the dark grey.

 

I traded my GG Evo 9 MR for a TB Evo 9 MR.

 

Yeah the SE's are only avalible in a three colors i believe. Silver Black and GG. the black MR's were actually a mistake from Mitsu and there are only 500 USDM trim Black MR's all 2006.5's.

If it was a 2006.5 MR with appearance package then it had to have had the same diamond cut rims as the 2006.5 Special Edition (none MR).
