I suspect the sunroof may have been added, the switch is different than my 04 RalliArt and doesn't match the manual either

05 EVOs DOES have ACD, LSD and 10.5 hotside than the IXs. Only difference (besides the outside looks) engine-wised is MIVEC

05s got the same hotside as the IXs

Alfred, my tuner from Tuning Technologies, runs 503 awhp on his GT3076-powered EVO on C16, daily driven (i think he "downgrade" lately to 100 octane)

they do not have 10.5 hotside, they do have problems with syncros, they do have intercooler spray .
i hope it helped a little bit!
Correct, only 05s have LSD, ACD, and 10.5 on VIIIs

If it got sunroof but no leather seats, it's a 03-04, but if it's leather, it's a 05 (like mine)

If your car is quipped with the ACD then definetely its an 05 and the sunroof is aftermarket...

I'm thinking about doing some minor mods to improve the car's performance. I've been tuning cars for years and saw ecuflash is available. I have a few questions:

what a/f is safe for WOT at stock boost levels?

how much boost is the stock turbo capable of with a MBC?

at what PSI is raising the boost beyond that pointless?

how can I view/log knock?

is the stock airbox that bad?

is the stock exhaust that bad?

what should my car run stock and what should it run after, tune, CAI, exhaust, raised boost (if possible) on pump gas?

Ultimately I'd like for it to run 11's on pump gas but I'll settle for deep 12's to start with.

Ok. I dont know too much but on my old VIII I replaced the intake, Stock isnt bad but CAI Gives u much better performance. APS has a nice cold air but you also have to replace water sprayer. I did and loved it. Exhaust doesnt matter much unless u replace ur O2 Housing. When i changed to turbo back I actually only made about 6 more HP. When I changed to aftermarket o2 housing I gained 31 total at the crank. Boost I set to 21 on stock turbo. Flash i'm not sure about but I have heard good things. I would suggest Intake and exhaust BUT DO THE 02 HOUSING.
