Sqeaking noise from break pad?!
More likely, the exact opposite. Also, depending on your driving style it may take longer than you would think to break in the pads. I drove a friend's Evo that had several thousand miles (I was datalogging the car) and after a few pulls I saw some smoke coming from his front pads on like the 3rd pull we made..
If you do any repeated hard braking (track braking for example) or if you bed your brakes make sure and allow your brakes to cool down for a few minutes afterwards (drive for 10 minutes on the highway to cool down, or in a cool down area at a track)
i think its a hit and a miss kinda thing, my breaks sqeaks under light pressure, but my cousins evo don't do it at all, i bought mine after 1 week he bought his. i remeber seeing a pic of evo engine and at the side it states that the breaks does sqeak due to the brembo performance break.

Well an update, I tried putting in the high temp grease behind the brake pads and it helped a lot of the squeaking but about 60 miles later it started again. However the squeaking was a lot better than what it used to sound. It's definately not as loud and sharp as it used to be. I guess I needed to put more on.... or taken the whole caliper off instead of just pulling the brake pad out... that's what i get for a half **s job haha
UPDATE: All squeaking gone! *knocks on wood*
Recently i found out my alignment was way out of whack. After i removed my stock tires i realized the threads on the sides of my tires were all worn out. I went into the shop to get my alignment fixed and ever since then all the squeaking is gone now!

LOL, its very common for high performance brake pads to squeak. Every good thing has a downfall...squeaking and more brake dust then on other cars. Bare with it untill your pads wear out and get quiet stop brake pads.
