Just got my evo IX GSR

Hi Guys -

I just got my evo IX in white, its got about 17600 miles on it and I paid $26,700 for it. The condition is very clean in an out, no ding/dents or any kind of damage.

The interior is so clean that my friend that sat in it for the first time thought it was brand new.

My question is, do you think I paid a reasonable price? I searched and it seemed ok.

Oh yeah, its got all new tires too.

Thanks.

no with taxes and tags and fees it was 1000 more. I calculated on buying a brand new one and it was coming to about $5300 more plus i'd have to spend about 600 to 700 bucks right away to put on some all season tires.

I was pretty satisfied with the overall deal.

thanks man, this was my last ride.

The sti was nice and all, but was slower than the evo IX and I alway felt the IX was like a legend, so I figured I could get a used one, mod it up some and then I'd have a taste of both cars.

I like your old STi. How much did you spend on mods for the STi?

yeah i hope the guy took care of it, the dealer said it was traded by a guy in his 30s and he needed a passat since he was having a kid, dunno if it was true, but the car looked good so i went for it. I tried to look for a new one but there were mostly MRs, and i didnt wanna pay the extra for something im not gonna use.

I did get the car lifted at the dealer and inspected everything, there was no sign of modding.

I plan on taking the car to a evo shop in a few days to get it all checked out, so lets see what they say.

Here is a pic from the dealer:

I think about $3500, I had a flash, TBE, springs, wheels, intake and a few other small mods.
I had close to 32K miles on it and got $25,000 for it
