does a basic flash void your warrenty??

 

While there is no real mod that will void your entire warranty... modifying the stock ECU will easily give Mitsu enough to refuse any engine/drivetrain related work.

 

If they know about it they can void your warranty. But the only way they will know is if you tell them. There would be no reason for them to ask or try and check if your flashed.

 

basicly you lost your warranty when you drive the car out from show room...
mitshubishi try to deny your warranty for everything .. i got 400 miles 9 days with rotor problems and they try to deny mine...reason : wheel locks. i drove home i got my papers , i did go back and i show them i got a car with a wheel locks!/magic window sticker/
so figure ... ecu reflash...
since 05 they know you reflashed it.
