Worth it as far as what? Need more info. What do you use your car for?

It's worth it if you want somewhat marginally better performance for a significant cost. If you are doing some kind of racing, maybe this is the direction you want to go.

I use my VIII to drive to/from work and road trips, and it's more than enough car for me (sad to admit). I can't imagine that you would need a faster car for the street.

I'm certainly not knocking the people that made/will make the move, it's obviously a personal decision...

Why not wait for the X?
