So why don't we ever talk about..
The MS6 is in a different class to the STi and Evo. It would be more of a comparison for the MS6 to go against the Legacy GT.
They're both AWD luxury cars with plenty of power. The STi and Evo are nothing but fancied up track monsters. It's like comparing a pro team to a college team. Sure the college team may rack up some points but it'll never be a fair fight.

If I was going to buy a Mazda, I would buy the Mazda Speed 3.
For only $22k you get a 2.3 liter direct injection, six speed, turbo, with 263HP at the crank. Not bad for a little hatch. They claim it's the fastest front wheel drive sport compact on the market.
just my .02 cents ( i hate saying that )

I was looking at Mazdaspeed6 before my evo 9. Mazdaspeed 6 is perfect car for those who cant afford evo 9. Mazdaspeed 6 is around $32 MSRP but you can drop it to around 24k(sports model is under 22k). Huge rebates on mazdas. Mazdaspeed3 is expensive than Mazdaspeed6 if you goto dealer and actually talking and negotiate with them.
24k is not bad for full leather, 4 wheel drive, turbo, push start with card key.
BUT mazda resale value is CRAP!!!!!!!!
I owned mazda6. MSRP was 28 bought it for 18.5k (was 2002 4cyl full option including appearance package) Drove for 2 years and got 1000 when I traded in. Even the dealer didnt want to take my car because it was mazda.
Anyway if you goto mazda6 clubs people compare Legacy GT to mazdaspeed6.
No way close to Evos unless you get that 2.5k add on turbo that came out few month ago( i read somewhere that it boost horse to 400+ but not sure where)
my point is get mazdaspeed6 if you cant afford to get evo and you want AWD with turbo and willing to keep the car for long long time.

I can't believe you guys are having this conversation without me! The MS6 is a good looking car, but the 3 appeals to me more. I bet it would be more fun to drive, too.
