another newb, same question.

ok well, im here because i want to learn more about evos. im really considering buying one and i need someone to tell me why i should. i had an sti but even when i had my sti and i drove my buddy's evo i just felt more comfortable driving the car. im at a point in my life that i should be buying a "big boy" car as my brothers say (i am the youngest) you know, i should buy a bimmer or a benz bla bla bla but i still have this itch to have a fast car. i am not rich by any means, but i like nice stuff. tell me why i should buy an evo instead of growing up and getting a big boy car.

umm not to sound rude, but try searching, there is alot of threads on this topic. And no-one should really have to convince you to buy an evo, go for what u want!

EVOs are a lot easier to work on than STi's, not to mention, EVOs respond better (if not easier) on mods than STi's

im 24...but this is their angle is well you have a house now and you make decent money, you should just buy a nice luxury car instead of dumping all of your money into a japanese car. i would like a 5 series, but i also miss awd and boost, and the stiff uncomfortable ride. i dunno. i know what the evo is capable of, i dont need convincing there. i think im just at this stage in my life where i wanna grow up and move away from the tuning thing and just get a nice car to just drive that is not performance oriented, but then.....argh i dunno. ill just keep driving my forester xt. grandma wagon w/ turbo

Seriously... get what you really want because if you don't you'll probably regret it.

My family thought that I should have gotten a is350 or g35, but I stuck with the evo.. don't have any regrets about it, and my now family thinks its not a bad decision except for the huge spoiler.
