no. a tsb is not a recall.

basically a TSB is a "heads up" to the dealers that there can be an issue.

Absolutely royal pain in the ***.... Dealer is having trouble taking the seat apart to replace the back...cannot take off screws. Car been in the shop since Saturday, parts where in stock ordered one week before i took the car in......I just hope I do not get a creaky seat.

The back of my seat is cracked a little where those plastic thingamijigers keep falling out.. Probably one of my friends.. I was always careful when i was back there

I haven't Broken mine, but i am pretty heavy 200LBS. And I moved around it it and it made a cracking sound. And also the Armrest, or center console cover doesn't seem to be too sturdy either. I put my forarm on it to reposition mysef and it made cracking sounds too. ohh well its a Mitsu.

It happened to me, and the dealer changed the Recaro under warranty after a Mitsu technician saw it.

Does the 10 year 100,000 warranty not apply here (Why do I feel that was a stupid question)?

I have to say I am a fat Bast*rd and my seats hold up just fine, I hope they warranty it for you. Those recaros are a bit pricey!!
