Is there an o2 simulator for the IX that WORKS?

My rear o2 sensor is trash from running a tp and I need a fix to keep my CEL off when I go to get inspected at the end of the month.
I've heard that most simulators don't work with the IX's can anyone verify if there is one that does in fact work?
Thanks!

I have a Perrin o2 sim on my IX and it works fine. My rear o2 sensor wires are all jacked up too from being too close to the exhaust.

This is the one you want... I've had it on my car for over 6 months now and no problems what so ever... Here's a link to the site I bought it off of... I think I paid 20 bucks shipped! Best deal I could find and a well made piece to boot!

I actually tried that and it would randomly come and go. I think the reason it didn't work right is because I put a few hundred miles on the car with it directly into the tp and by that time, it was covered in soot.
After I got my tune, I used the antifoulers but by then it was too late.
Now since the sensor is completely crap, I want a fix that is cheaper than the $172 I was quoted for a new one. lol
Also, I'm pretty sure I read that the Perrin simulator didn't work on quite a few IX's because it shows too high or low of a voltage. Maybe you're one of the lucky ones?
Also, the code I'm getting is P0138 (o2 sensor voltage too high) The codes listed under the link were for malfunctioning cat and mine is for the o2 sensor being bad. If the voltage is too high, I don't want it burning up .
Thanks for the replies so far!

The spark plug foulers do work great thats what I have been using and have not seen the CEL. Make sure you have a decently powerful/charged drill though otherwise it will be a while till you get the 1/2" bit through the fouler.

$2.99 for 2 at Advance Autoparts

It sounds like your o2 sensor is toast. I wonder if it will throw a CEL no matter what since it may not be functioning correctly. Just something to think about. For example, if it wont work with the spark plug foulers (which seem to work on everyone's car), then maybe there is not a fix other than buying a new sensor.

Hopefully that isn't the case.
