Hey all,

Just thought id pop in and introduce myself. Im in the US Army stationed overseas in Belgium, and a new owner of a 2003 Tarmac Back Evo 8. It should be on the boat across the atlantic within the week, so im anxious to give her a run.

I have a few buddies here in the military with evo's. One has an Evo 8, another had a 6, but worked a drug deal for a slick 4. Anyways, with all the exposure to such a wonderful car, it was inevitable that I get one. Hell, even the wife is excited.

So anyways, here are a few pics of her as she sits. Has the stock mini-Lancer wing so that will hopefully be the first thing to go. Id much rather have the full option wing.

Transportation Management Office... they ship stuff for military (at least AF) when moving and stuff.

 

You'll find alot of military in this forum (myself included). Welcome and take a drive on the autobahn for me.

 

Also in military. I was told you have to be E7 or above(or officer) to transport your car overseas.

 

all depends where your at you working at SHAPE HQ. I am military too, but I am in butthole, TX which is better than butthole, Korea where I was this time last year, but this time next year Ill be in butthole, Icrack YEEHAW! And get this my ex asked me if I would let her drive my Evo 9 while I am in said butthole, Icrack.

 

Not true. I have a Chevy here already on the military's dime, but I have to pay for the Evo.

Thanks for the warm welcome all. Just talked to the dealer a few hours ago, they should have the car on the boat soon...is it bad im already looking for exhaust, intake and reflashes?

 

As a matter of fact, shortly after the car gets here there is an Evo meet in Spa which I should be attending....but before that we have a Nurburgring trip scheduled so itll be time to break the new black beauty in
