Just figured I'd give a bit of background and introduce myself.

Just picked up a Evo IX SE last week. Traded in my Mazdaspeed6 that I had for 14 months. It was a difficult decision, but I had been experiencing an increase in problems with the car, so I decided to cut my losses ASAP.

Overall I am very pleased with the car so far. It was my first choice originally, but the wife wasn't thrilled with the car when I was in the market. I eventually settled on the MS6 for the family/luxury aspect.

Not sure why she changed her mind this time around, but she did. And here I am.

I will spending most of my time reading old posts , and getting familiar with the car (not to mention break-in) before I start with any mods.

I have a 69 Camaro that I grew up with and was a good daily driver for the past 20+ years, so my knowledge of NA cars is abundant. But even with the MS6 I am still learning a lot about turbo cars as I go.

Look forward to learning a lot
