PROSPORT Gauge question

Anyone ever use/have prosport gauges? They are cheap and look nice... just wondering if their readings are horrible....

Thanks

actually no..they are pretty darn accurate..but of course not 100% accurate..IMO they are better than the stock gauges..go get them! i love the way it changes colors =] from white(daylight) to amber(night)..and a lot of members in SoCalEvo praises these gauges because they are cheap and pretty accurate..but if your big ballin and have the money to blast off just on gauges go ahead and buy defi's..but if your on a budget like most other members then this is a great alternative.. =]

i just bought there electric boost guage, but didn't install it yet. i also read that it was accurate. As far as the defi's i think they are just overpriced gauges... they are not accurate.

How would you compare these to say a autometer lower-end gauge? Also, did you need to buy a t adaptor for the boost gauge?

they are the same or somewhat slightly better/more accurate than autometer...also the prosports wins the looks and style(fogged & changing colors is great and makes it look expensive)...and no u dont need an adapter..it comes with all the needed parts..u just need the tools(extra wires) and a gauge pod to mount it on..IMO its a worth it product..and is very affordable..

Honestly, you get what you pay for with Prosport gauges. A company did a group buy on them with the Mich. Evo/Lancer club, so many of us had or have them. I wouldn't recommend them. They're very hard to see in daylight and the gauges often freeze at one reading. For example, my oil pressure gauge from them will sometimes spike to 80psi and get stuck there until power to the gauge is cut and reconnected (car/acc off then back on.) I would not recommend them.

I just installed a stewart warner boost gauge. I like it...

As far as the PROSPORT gauges, they will be difficult to see on a sunny day.

I believe the Rexpeed dash pod can hold 60mm or 52mm, I think they have two versions..
