Yeah I was Rallying in the bussiness park next door to work at lunch yesterday in about 8 inches of snow with my snow tires. Thing does AWESOME.

Drove my Bronco today just to play in the big drifts (it does that a little better than the evo ) and realized the Evo is much better on the road with snow and ice, sure the bronco can handle the deep snow better, but with the locker and short wheelbase its a little squirly

Long story short, after putting on my snow tires the EVO FAR exceeds my expectations. Its right up there as an equal to the F250 I used to have as far as snow driving goes, it may even be a step ahead, the F250 just had sheer weight to keep it planted, the Evo is just engineered that good!

Every so often I read of somebody hitting a curb. Well, if you are cornering and the front goes wide, yank the emergency brake - this is a rally car after all. With some practice you will be able to stay on the power and make square corners on packed snow. But, don't go crazy at first, allow yourself time to learn how this works.

Does somebody make a gizmo that disconnects the emergency brake rachet? I'd sure love to have that feature.

The other night at about midnight, I looked out and saw we had fresh snow on the snow that is on the snow. So, out I went to blast up and down the empty streets. A few minutes later I was back with a big smile on my face - great fun.

Yeah its called duct tape

I'm with you though, would be nice if the button had a lock on it like a buffer or something so you could lock it when your playing and unlock it when you need to ratchet and park.

just be careful when you wash the car (aka the automatic touchless carwash) that the water doesn't get up in the BOV and freeze it shut

So, that's how you spell ratchet.
