Making Stock Exhaust Louder

I like the look and stealthy-ness of the stock exhaust, but I wish it were louder. Other than taking off the cat, is there any way to make it sound louder?

What about a down pipe? Will that make it louder?

You can drill a couple of 1/2 inch holes in the middle of it a couple of feet apart. It will make it lauder, . J/K

there are 2 resonators on the midpipe of the stock catback, if u have a shop replace those with just pipes it should help make it a bit louder. u could also replace the stock muffler with a smaller one, and weld the stock tip onto the new muffler to still make it look stock.

the best sound deadening stuff on the stock TBE is the catalytic converter, and the gigantic muffler...

Take a screw driver and jam some holes into the muffler..

Where do you live? If your not in Cali, get a TBE.

check out this exhaust. It's stealthy, but yet still gives you a performance gain as well. IMO I'd go with full TBE and get a stealthy looking catback. I think magnaflow and Greddy might have similar set ups to the one in the link about. SEARCH.

why would you want it louder ?? imo if you want it louder then get some performance gains with it... not just make it louder just for making it louder... it's gonna end up sounding like a fart can and riced out ....
