Hit The Curb Really Hard
I had the same thing happen to me...my rear tires were completely bald down to the cords, and I just started fish tailing. This happened when I was taking a right turn onto a road from a stop light. I did not launch but my rear tires broke traction anyways because of the combination of rain + bald tires. Luckily I hit the curb at a very low speed, but since my car is lowered almost 3 inches, my stock fmic got smacked really really hard. It ended up tugging on my radiator core support where the FMIC bolts to, and I had to get an entire new front bumper as well. I just ended up pulling the dents out of the radiator support (with a dent puller, so the the fmic can bolt up with no fitment issues) and repainted everything. $2000 later my car looks like new again =)
Oh and I did not have a undertray at the time, because a tow truck destroyed it a few months earlier. Had it been on, it would surely have been destroyed as well.
