Hit The Curb Really Hard

Last night it was raining and my car started drifting a lil when i took a turn to hard. i tried to compensate but i ended up spinning out in the opposite direction (it was raining hard outside). I hit a curb pretty hard and completely f*ed up my undertray and bumper lip. is it worth even replacing. I am on a short budget and dont want to fork out the cash for something that is unneccesary but if it is required i will gladly buy. thanx for the help guys

A lot of people are running without an undertray. If the lip isn't off the bumper, don't worry about it until you save up some $ to get it fixed.

All you messed up was the bumper lip and plastic undertray? Just replace the bumper lip and dont worry about the plastic undertray.

Your lucky thats all you did, sorry to hear. The undertray, not a problem, leave it off for now.

and there should be some stock lips in the FS section for cheap if yours is really bad.

I have been without the undertray for a while now, but scraped the AMS LICP every time I pulled in the driveway, so I had to get another one, (Ground a hole in it). The oil filter hangs low, and someone on here had a rock BUST the oil filter and bracket off the car while driving on the highway, because he didn't have the protective undertray on. I will chance it.

the necessity of an undertray seems to be a point of debate here, some guys swear it adds 50whp, some guys think its a PITA and rip it off...its your call whether you need one or not.

if your front lip is that messed up, you can get a ebay cf lip for cheap! there's a bunch of reviews in the show n shine section that are all positive.

Slow down in the rain son....here in FL with all the ****y traffic building up the oil on the roads. When it rains it washes the oil all over the road and is really slick.
Lack of rain makes it worst when it does rain.
Sorry to here about the car.

Under tray helps more with air flow and optimizes the air into the radiator, brakes, and oil cooler.
