I'm running a Bosch universal 4-wire o2 on my IX. Didn't feel like paying $400+ for a new one from even though they're the ones who over-torqued it from the factory Anyways I've also done this same mod to a friend's 05 VIII on his front o2. Never thrown a code and works like a charm. ~$80 from Napa.

I rounded the hex on my O2 sensor trying to remove it (tried a 600 ft-lb impact gun, STILL WOULDN'T BUDGE!!!) so I have no other option other than to replace it along with the o2 housing. Any part numbers would be nice! Did you guys buy the one that you have to splice in, or did it come with a factory compatible plug?

Same here, get a universal bosch 4 wire one(I think is like blue, white and two blacks).

The main issue here is to make the investment of your life and buy a $4 antiseize tube. It is a must for any exhaust component. Spent $4 dollars now or regret you had to spent hundreds later.

Aftermarket o2 sensors are fine. The reason the for higher price is where it comes from (Mitsubishi) and the other is that is comes with the connectors.
