what is the usuall Boost drop after spike?

I've been running around for a while Boosting alittle over 1.5 bar and holding 1.4 til redline..

But today while racing my friends Srt-4 stage 2 W/HOM...My boost started to drop( taper) down to like 1.2-1.3 after spike...The car feels a good amount slower up top now and i cant get it to hold good boost anymore.

How can I hold more boost again?....Would a MBC or EBC or something else hold boost better?.

I'm running more boost thanks to Al removing the restricter.

Yes an MBC will hold boost better. Check for boost leaks. Still on the stock DV? Hose clamps, etc?

He is going to be really close if not already outflowing the stock turbo at 21psi like he says he's running (1.5bar). If he's at any altitude higher than sealevel its just going to make it worse

Based on the username "TurboIX" I'm going to say he has an evo 9 and the DV is probably ok

A simple thing he can do to improve his VE at the higher RPM's, that means more power btw, is to get a set of cams if he hasn't already.
