My 03 ran the best spiking 28 holding 26 on C16
9.8 housing
cone filter
buschur flash
TBE
AFC
arp head studs
fuel pump
264/264
Pruven FMI

But to answer the question i always ran 21-23 on 93 pump

I've seen a lot of hard evidence that you can run as much as 32 psi on pump fuel (99 RON which is about 94 PON in the states). I think it all depends on things like intercooler efficiency, compression ratio, ignition angle, and just about every other aspect of an engine (piston design, rings, plugs, etc).

So I think the answer is, a lot. But it depends on the engine spec.

ps: If you don't believe it fine but I'd be happy to post you link after link of dyno results in the UK from the Mitsubishi Lancer Register.

not at all but if you're only running 93 then i wouldnt take it much past this point. on alky my friend ran his on 30psi and it hauled a$s.

anyhow for those of you who think the stock turbo loses efficiency, tell that to ttp and curt brown.

With stock static compression ratio, the practical limit for 93 octane seems to be around 22-23 psi. This has nothing to do with turbo efficiency, but with the limit of the octane. Beyond this point, one typically has to retard the ignition timing such that it negates the power increase from raising the pressure further. Retarding the ignition timing far enough significantly raises EGT, which isn't doing anything for the exhaust valves, turbo etc.
