DC Sport Downpipe Install ?
Installing my DC Sport Downpipe with built-in testpipe tonight on my IX. There's no 02 bung on it...BUT there's one on my Greddy Catback. Once removed from the cat is the stock 02 sensor long enough without adding an extension to reach the bung in the catback? Any other install pointers? Anyone running this on their IX already? Any clearance issues? I'll be using a Fowler to help keep the CEL away for being catless.
I have the dc sport and it was touching the transmission. So I took it to our local shop and they worked out the problem with a sledge hammer
Now it fits perfectly.
I don't have an 02 bung either but the sensor will reach the bung on the cat back. Or at least it did when I was running the Apexi N1.

Sensor reached fine...no rattles yet...I put a couple washers on before putting the brace that runs closest to the DP. Gave me almost 1/8 in clearance...so far so good...trying to dial in this MBC.
To clear up the "I have a bung and I don't".. I believe the DC Sport downpipe was redesigned and the new ones have o2 bungs while the old ones do not. I'm going to be ordering one soon and was checking with vendors and some have the redesigned ones and some have the old ones.
I just put on the exhaust listed below Monday. The O2 bung was located 12" away from where the wire comes out of the floor. The biggest problem was figuring out what to do with the extra 24" of wire.
So yeah, it shouldn't be a problem at all.
