Just like it says, I'm a noob here. However, I do know a little bit about EVOs. I happen to know 520hpsti and his brother who owns an EVO VIII.

At the moment I'm driving an 06 galaxy grey RX-8 GT that I'm trying to get rid of because after two years of good winters, Michigan decided it's gonna be ghey and pour down all the snow it can. So I need something that can get me through the snow better than my RX-8.

Anyway, hoping to get an EVO soon, and hope to learn a bunch more about 'em. I've already posted a few times w/o introducing myself, haha, hope I don't get yelled at. Bummer I can't post in the FS threads yet...

I'll post some pics of my RX-8 IF you want, just for the heck of it. Maybe someone will buy it, haha.

That I have not. But I bet it'll take a turn as fast as an EVO or an STi. Now I'm not saying it'll pull out of it faster, but it's fun stuff.

 

I had the same car in black. Traded it in for my evo.... NO COMPLAINTS BEST THING I've done yet.

 

However, without snow tires your evo will be equivalent to your old car so make sure you budget for those.

 

I'm quite aware of that, haha.

 

I use to drive an Rx-8. I traded my '05 Rx-8 for my '06 Evo. I loved the Rx-8 and I would have kept it if I could afford both cars. I added the Mazdaspeed CAI and Catback. It sounded so mean. I really miss that car. I bought it off the showroom for $26k. That car can turn like no other and is an absolute blast to drive. Just not in the winter.

I considered a RX-8 before getting the Evo... they should of came with the Mazdaspeed body kit from the factory
