Best GT30 turbo package ?

I have a evo 9 and i am about to modify it with an upgraded turbo.
i am trying to stay conservative with a GT30 package. by now i narrowed down my options to vishnu and ams, but i am not sure which one to choose ?
btw do i need any extra mods when getting those packages?

thanks

honestly i have a evo8 MR with 22k on it with 264/272 cams, adjustable vishnu cam gears vishnu flash, greddy ebc,and full 3 inch exhuast system.

and just bought a stock evo 9 MR with 33k on it for 21k, so i am trying to sell the 8 and mod the 9. but feel like the 8 pulls way better right now. what do you think about that?

I called AMS and they said it was 500 to install a turbo kit. Then you have to add the other stuff like a tune.

12 Hours to install a turbo sounds like a rediculously long time to me.

Isn't the BR GT30 the same price as the GT35?

Might as well go with the GT35.

Since you live in SoCal you might want to look into RRE 'stealth' 30R kit.
They have a custom GT30R kit they sell, install, and tune.
Turn-key turbo kit installed for about $4k last time I heard.

Man, I kinda wish I lived closer to RRE and I would have a 30R by now.

You would probably be happier with the 50TRIM. They always seem to make better numbers and times then the 30R which is more efficient at high boost which then you may as well run a 35R.

I like the AMS 50 Trim kit and one day, I will own one.
