if you're going to buy the ss o2 housing, dont buy it from the user 'ssautochrome' on ebay. i tried to install it yesterday, and the o2 bung is in a different place than it was in the picture he had on his auction. the o2 sensor hits a power steering line....emailed the dude telling him i want to exchange for the one he had pictured, and havent heard back yet. now i kind of wish i bought a quality brand one

I have had both for amost 24,000 miles now, lots of AutoX's, lots of track events, and just generally beating on it like it owes me money, and no cracking and/or failing performance.

Anyone else have that problem!??!?! I just ordered mine from that user name on ebay, shipping was really quick and all but just looking at his picture I can't remember right now where the o2 bung is on the one I got. Going to have to check out when I get home tonight.

too much of a risk if their manifold cracks debris will damage your turbo
It's been generally accepted wisdom that their manifold, uicp and faux bov are crap. Intercooler and licp leave some to be desired but still outperform stock and worth their money.
02 housing, downpipe and exhaust are kick *** products.

I'm running the Megan Racing Exhaust header. It looks like the SS autochrome. I'm switching my Headers for the Borla tubular headers.

You would be better off with the stock ported manifold over those Borla headers...good luck though!

that ported and coated manifold is really expensive. The port job isn't bad, but the coated is crazy expensive.

What like $300 bucks

Well we have our standard manifold which includes internal porting only with coating for $219.

Or if you just want Internal porting we can do that for $65 with no coating.

There is no doubt that the Swaintech is expensive. Although if you want the best coating which is a coating and not a paint that holds the heat in to reduce underhood temps then you want the Swaintech coting.

The Swaintech coating is actually a thermal barrier. The material is thick enough where it can actually trap the heat inside the manifold. By design it is is not meant to be as "pretty" to look at as much as it actually performs. The process in which this coating applied is more time consuming and coating itself costs more which is why it is more expensive.

Jet Hot style applications only really paint the part to make it look nice. They contain a little ceramic which does have a heat reducing property although it will never contain the heat like a Swaintech coating. The primary function of Jet Hot style coatings is form over function.

I might have to look more into this swaintech coatings.

How much to get something coated I already have. Such as a o2 housing. Thinking about coated o2 housing and a port and coated exhaust manifold.
