Does your IX have a rough or lumpy idle? In other words, will it idle smoothly, then have a mild hiccup or shudder then normalize again?

When you get a chance, sit in the car with the windows and doors closed. Let it idle till it's warm. Feel the engine vibration... let me know if it sometimes hiccups, producing a mild vibration or shudder which you could feel sitting down. My 2006 EVO is brand new as well, with less than 270 miles on the clock and I've noticed this. A few people tell me it's normal, but I've never seen new, non-modified engine do this. I don't have any check engine lights, but purchased an OBDII scanner anyway just to give me peace of mind...

OK. That's what a few people have said, but for some reason... still just doesn't feel right to me. I guess I got spoiled by the smoothness of the S54 and BMW engines in general.

BTW, congrats on your IX as well. I miss my M3, but have a blast driving this!
