ok i found a used blue 05 evoVIII for $27,000. it has about 8,000 miles on it. is that a good deal or should i just buy a new IX, since its only a couple grand more.

also, i found a black 05 with about 7,000 miles for about the same price. but i looked at the carfax and it says it has 14 records found. do you think it could have been in an accident? i cant get the detailed report without paying for it.

get the new IX- see the thread titled "Rage" and see what I encountered with someone who claimed that their car was stock- save yourself the trouble

I now love my car though and got it at an amazing deal, I just have to get tires now three months after buying it

 

Get a new IX for a little more from South Coast Mitsubishi and know you are getting a good deal. Buying a used Evo can have dire consequences if you are not careful. I have heard one to many stories of people who have bought used and ended up getting ripped off or have had endless problems with the car. Save yourself the trouble and buy new.
