1. Might be your alignment/balance wheel might be needed. 2. (might be false) unbalance tire air pressure. I would check every month. 3. this happen to me and i fix it warpped rotors. swap a new one and nothing happen anymore. But before even the lightest tap on the brakes the car sterring wheel shakes like a ****,

mine does that too. EVOs are verysensitive to imbalanced tires between 60-80 mph. this has nothing to do with rotors unless it happens when you are braking

- make sure you have exactly 32psi front 29psi rear if you are on stock tires
get a digital pressure gauge, it's more important to have equal pressure on driver and pass sides
- jack up your car, loosen wheel studs and torque wrench them to 73lb/ft in a star pattern while they are off the ground. do it once in two month. take one of the front wheels off the studs and rotate it 1/5 or 2/5 - often helps
- try to rotate tires

- getting an alignment at a respectable shop would cost north of $100, do it it if you have a budget, would not hurt. some cars are badly misaligned form the factory

Mine used to do it...it's the balance, and MAKE SURE you go to someone that knows what they are doing. Trust me, it took me 6 months and a dozen trips to diff. people to figure it out. Good Luck

mine did the same thing. For me it was the tires that caused the shaking after a track event. Tried to rebalance them at first but didnt solve the problem. New tires did the trick

i had that problem with a front tire that needed to be balanced. thats most likely the culprit. you can at least visually inspect the wheel to see if it has any weights on it.

I have the same problem and notice uneven wear on my front tires. Do I need a balance and alignment? Yes. Am I lazy and broke? Yes.
