pulling your evo
pulling your evo
hey guys,
has anyone had any expierience pulling your evo lets say behind a huge truck or something. All 4 wheels would be on the ground so it wouldnt be like a tow. im just curious because i currently have my turbo off and need to move the car about a mile and a half to a new location. any feed back if this would be safe would be very helpful, thanx

it shouldnt make any problems to your car. i never pulled my evo but i have pulled my brothers STi from my friends shop after taking out the motor to my house which was a couple miles and we got on a highway for 2 miles i think and then got off and took the streets. no problem. pulled it with our pickup truck.

will run rich .....but you could just drive it that short distance at low speed with the turbo off. (BYPASS OIL LINES FIRST!!!)
edit: ACTUALLY DONT DO THIS UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING....

I had to tow my Evo to the dealership without a flatbed. Just make sure your ignition is on and you car is in neutral. I was in my car to steer it while it was being pulled and it went smooth with no problemms. I didnt have 100 dollars for a flatbed for a 5 minute trip.
