350z to EvoVIII?

Hello, I currently have an 05 350z which i like. But latley i was concidering getting an eno VIII. How do you guys like your car? How reliable is it with more miles? any major problems with the VIII? is the difference between the VIII and the IX real big? I know i have alot of questions and i did do some searches but was hoping you guys can either send me a link or answer those questions. Thank you.

yes the 9 is a better car but not in a huge way. i dont feel like going into why since ur gonna have to reseach on ur own instead of expecting to be spoon fed. now i also came from a 03' 350z to an 03 evo... then went to 06 evo later... evo is WAY more fun then the z... period.

now on the track surprisingly the Z will give the evo a run for the money.... much harder to drive right but in the right hand, a stock Z will slightly edge out the stock evo on the time attack. once modding occur, its a no brainer.

I would highly recommend the evo to you. I drove the 350z quite a few times, trying to decide between them. The evo is just more fun to drive period. The Z is a good car but just not the same. The difference between the 8 and 9 is 20-30 hp with basic mods until you start upgrading the turbos then the difference is a lot smaller.

I had an s2000 before I bought my IX. A usable trunk is an amazing thing... Not to mention a back seat.

I had a Z that I traded for an STI and then got rid of the STI for my Evo. I do not know what your situation is with winter driving, but with me, even with snows and weight in the trunk, the Z could not cut it. I have a monster hill to climb that unfortunately requires AWD if there is anything over a few inches on the ground. First there is a long semi steep twisting road that leads into the monster hill up to my house that you cannot get any momentum built up before hand. The few storms we did have this winter I would not have made it up in any other car but my Evo. I loved the Z otherwise but was just not practical enough. Not having a back seat and limited trunk space was difficult. Since I only have the one car, the Evo and STI make way more sense. I just such a good deal initially on the Z I could not pass it up at the time and did get a summer and fall to enjoy it.

I've owned an 04 Z and 2 05 G35's. The insides are much nicer in the Nissans but performance wise the evo takes it. You get used to the interior and lose focus anyways when you start to feel the engine's power. I always get caught with a grin driving around in my evo. You won't be disappointed.

Interesting, after owning the Z and now the MR, I think both interiors are right on par with eachother. I actually like the Evo's interior a little better. Especially when I get my Defi gauges installed with the Gruppe-S dash piece.

do you have a family? if you do the Evo is a 4 door sedan and def. more powerfull than the Z. If you're single I'd stay with the Z, those Z are super beaatiful and i bet you always get looks and questions for others, with the Evo you only gonna get hatred from haters
