Should I buy

A EVO 9..... I just got off the phone with my bank and they are sending me a blank check to go and buy a new car. The payments will only go up $100 a month from what I am paying for my 03 EVO.

Hmm... $100 a month increase. Maybe 30 whp more at a given level of modding. In debt for another 3-6 years depending on financing. Aluminum roof and BBS's if you go with the SE (which you should). Already have nice mods on your 8. Its a toss-up for me. I might stick with your 8 as it should be getting close to paid off, yeah? Not having a car payment is REALLY nice. How many miles are on your VIII?

I have only had my VIII for a year, I still own for 5 more on it. The EVO 9 O am looking at only has 11000 miles on it. My car now has 65000 on it.

Get it.. and then get rid of your EVO. but before you do that, swap out all the stuff you wanna keep and install on the new evo.

5 grand isn't much to owe on a car. How long would you be planning on paying for the IX?

I say pass. I almost did the same thing with my evo. I couldnt think of starting over with this car payment. I have $500.00 payments for six years at 4.9%, with about a year left based on larger payments. I love my evo, had it the first week they came here to the U.S., but I am tired of using it as my daily driver. I cant wait to park it and just drive it on the weekends. So I chose to pay evo off early, and then buy a nice gas reliable vehicle that I dont have to baby so much. Your evo is already pretty well modded to put a smile on most evo owners faces. Keep what you have, pay it off, and enjoy the evo and something else later down the road.

Best advice so far. You could pay off your Evo in a year or less, depending on your disposible income. Once you pay it off you can turn that previous car payment either into a nice commuter or a different stroke. (335i is a NICE car )
