hi and welcome, sounds like the perfect evo you got! the only plugs that I know that are available are the ones that come with the oem side mount plate and is usually installed by the dealer, the reason why some evos don't have them is because the dealer did not install them and leaves it for the customer to choose if they rather be plated or non plated, ya got it??

welcome!

i believe in states where its a law to have a front plate the dealer is required to put the bracket...

i live in FL where we dont have that so im not sure what u can do other than take it to a body shop so they can put some filler and touch it up

leave the plate on, personally I think it looks better and if the front plate is not required then get yourself a jdm 4g63 plate or something

Welcome, I would just get some grommets and plug the holes. You could paint them WW too if you liked, but I doubt anyone would say anything if you didnt. They will probably be to busy wondering how that four bangin four door with the huge wing just blew buy them like they were standin still. Enjoy.

I have an 8 and it came with a bracket that some how hooks up to the intercooler mesh? do not really know as few (me included) put front plates on. If you get busted just zip tie plate to the mesh and then take it off after the cops sign off on it. As for the holes I doubt that there is any plug or such thing that would make it disappear, you might make it less noticable...(thinking of painted bolts, off the top of my head). But you should consider taking it to a body shop and filling them and repainting the bumper.

yea i dont think it bothers me enough to warrant a new paint job on the bumper especially since there are no chips or nicks in it yet, ill probably leave it as is, thanks for all the comments.

Kevin, welcome to the Forum .

I have those holes also and it does not bother me. Just go to any body shop and have them plugged and painted if that's what going to make you happy .
