can anyone tell me if theres anyhing wrong with this like is it just some "BS" drop in filter or is this something that would work and not ruin my car ( evo 9 ) thanks...

try to stick with name brand air filters, since the quality is much better then these genic one.

You could try it if you want... its blue with a 3in filter...I would get something better though...

nothing special...it doesnt whistle like a Blitz does but hey...u have turbo...ive got that on my mirage
